Well I think the news and media has made it pretty clear that if you own a Galaxy Note 7 you should probably exchange it. For the most part Galaxy note 7 owners have done what they were told. However, not all has listened. So Samsung has decided to handicap the Galaxy Note 7 by releasing an OTA (over the air) software update that caps the amount the device will charge the battery. With this update Galaxy Note 7 devices will not take on more than 60% charge. Why did Samsung handicap the Note 7? Your guess is as good as mine.
